In the early 1960s, Indonesia and Malaysia has been in a very serious conflict about the Malaysian’s intention to join the Borneo, Brunei, Sabah and Sarawak as one. However, the problem was then solved in a treaty. In 1998, when Soeharto (the president of Indonesia for 32 years) was brought down, the conflict was then brought over to the surface once again. In 2002,Indonesia has to let go Pulau Sipadan and Pulau Ligitan to Malaysia. This issue bring up a lot of conflict between Indonesia and Malaysia until today.

In 2005, another island of Indonesia, Pulau Ambalat was about to being claimed and this time Indonesian was not going to sit in silence. Finally, with the proves from Indonesia and supported by the UN, Indonesia and Malaysia then sign another declaration that Ambalat was belong to Indonesia (Hakim, 2007).

“Indonesia recently accused Malaysian battleships of entering Indonesian territorial waters surrounding Ambalat. Malaysian naval ships have breached the disputed zone several times. According to the TNI, this was the ninth time Malaysia had breached the law in 2009.” As quote from The Jakarta Post (2009), The issues made me thinking on how restless the Indonesian’s government as they do not want the war but the people of Indonesia will keep on giving a lot of pressure. The “trespassing” warships cannot be tolerated and that is why Indonesian’s bloggers and Malaysian’s bloggers have this hate sites: Malaysia and Indonesia

In addition, there are few of hate site which promotes hatred and it is usually spread the negative in terms of races, religion etc. (Wikipedia). This kind of website will gave out a bad impression towards raise people about certain groups of people as they have already perceived in a negative way with some races or religion which increasing the level of hatred.

Indonesia and Malaysia was quite similar in culture and language. Both of these countries should live together in peace. In my opinion, without a truth, this kind of website cannot be trusted. The feelings of hate could cause issues such as discrimination and disliking to any religions which is why there is no benefits to persuade people hating other religion or any cases by using a website.
